Witnessing Deat

After graduating from Miami Palmetto Senior High School, David went on to study Visual and Environmental Studies at Harvard University, graduating magna cum laude. David is currently a medical student at Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University. He was recently elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society for academic achievement.

In addition to Witnessing Death:a grandson's reflections, David has worked on several film projects, including "Bright Leaves," by Ross McElwee, "Redcoat" by Andy Rice, "The Epic Tale of Kalesius and Clotho" by Kyle Gilman, "Domino One" by Nick Louvel, and a travel documentary for Let's Go Travel.

David is interested in the intersection of medicine with video technology and the use of narrative storytelling in medicine. He lives with his wife Emily in Chicago, Illinois.
